GOING TO THE LAKE ON A GOLF CART!

We spent the 4th at the Lake, and Praise the Lord, Alex was able to go with us. Mom and Dad came, Ian was there and our friends Buddy and Tina and Jim and Willene were with us too.
Alex decided to take a drive on the golf cart. Remember now, he has VERY poor vision and sees double at a distance of about 8 feet. But, will you look at this? His Granny and Pop are right on there with him...going where he goes...whether he knows where he's going or not! I'd call that love and devotion, wouldn't you?

FYI: They made it to the Lake, and all returned safely!

Hi Tonja, saw you over at Teresa's place, thought your comment was interesting and decided to come by to see you...I see you are from Dothan...my husband is originally from Selma (we live in my home state of SC but once lived in Demopolis where he was the Navy Recruiter). Pleased to meet you, and glad all had fun on the lake...seems everyone has a golf cart on the road these days...may break down and get myself one!

That is just too precious for words. In fact, I have tears. Yesterday I took the time to read Alex's story again. Bless that sweet boy for all he endures and bless your precious family for loving him so much.

Oh! Tonja...I am praising God that
Alex was able to join the family on the 4th! I love that picture...it's funny...your dad seems to be having a blast and just oblivious to anything other than having fun...but your mom...she does seem to have her eyes peeled on the road. Being a mother never stops...does it...even when your a grandmom? Cute, Cute, CUTE!! Your folks are just the sweetest and cutest couple I have seen in a very long time...I just know I would love meeting them!

It is so great to see Alex driving the cart, waving and SMILING! So happy for all of you that he was up to going...what a happy holiday the 4th had to have been!

Blessings...
Teresa

I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's a champ! Probably drives better than me. :) Once I drove a golf cart up a tree, the pro was right in front of us. Whoops! I can't wait/believe school starts in just about a month!!! I have been working on my room, but the boys have been with me, so progress is slow. I'm so proud to see Alex with you all.
